Thank you so much for reading.
What have you been doing for the past two and a half months? I’ve been a writer for hire, which unfortunately left me no time for my stuff. Fortunately, I’ve since learned that I don’t want to be a ghostwriter. I’d rather be anchored down in a good old American office job while I pursue my artistic vision unfettered by the need to be paid for it. Didn’t a lot of you tell me that’s what I should have been doing from the beginning? Well, you were right.
I’m still living in northern Virginia, while the love of my life continues to reside in Florida. This is a photo he took of me on the beach in St. Augustine last April.
I intend to continue our story set in Madrid, Spain, but to resurrect this blog I thought I’d give you a peek into what’s going on now. It will be broken up into a few chapters.
As for my novel, Dance Is Love, I’ve gone back to the drawing board with it. Don’t be disappointed in me. Just think of all the writers you’ve heard of that took years to say what they wanted to say, got rejected [fill in large number of your choice here] times, and went on to be wildly successful. The end justifies the struggle and the waiting.
